Redinha, Pombal

Easy access, you park your car on the main road just 20 or so meters from the entrance. No entrance fee.

This cave is entered through a tight, shallow and snaky section. Dropping through a well into the main tunnel it starts opening up and the initial flow from the entrance is very much reduced. The walls are lighter in color than the Alviela or Almonda, and drop down steeply to a restriction at 30m and then drops further down to its explored limit at 80m (João Neves, 2007).
